Clinical Training

Students of Prashant Nursing Training School & College receive their clinical training at Prashant Memorial Charitable Hospital, Muzaffarpur.

You learn on the wards of Prashant Memorial Charitable Hospital (PMCH), Muzaffarpur, the hospital that runs the college. What you study in the classroom and practise in the laboratory, you then carry out for real patients, under supervision. You learn to observe a patient’s condition, record care and report changes to the supervising team. These responsibilities help you understand how nursing care follows the patient’s needs throughout treatment.

How your clinical training builds up

  1. Classroom teaching and demonstrations.
  2. Practice of nursing skills in the nursing laboratories, alongside ward training.
  3. Simulated clinical scenarios in the virtual reality laboratory.
